Night frost detector (in outdoor housing)
Monitors over- or underrun of set temperature limits.
The Mobeye ThermoGuard is aimed at preventing damage by early signalling temperature deviations.
Set the minimum and/or maximum temperature limit and let the Mobeye ThermoGuard monitor the ambient temperature.
Can operate fully battery-powered.
Measurement of temperature
The temperature sensor is digital and highly accurate. The minimum and/or maximum temperature limit is adjustable between -35 °C and +70 °C.
The sensor is factory calibrated and gives the value accurate to decimal places.
Alarm notifications
In an alarm situation, the Mobeye ThermoGuard sends notifications by app (IOS/Android), telephone call (voice message), text message and/or e-mail.
The message also contains the current temperature. For the push messages, there is a choice between an escalation plan or group message.
With the escalation plan, the recipient can acknowledge the push message, preventing the other contacts from receiving the message.
If none of the recipients confirm the push message, a call, SMS and/or e-mail still goes out. The number of contacts is unlimited.
External power versus battery powered
The Mobeye ThermoGuard can run on batteries for a long period of time and is therefore independent of an external power source.
Alternatively, a mains adapter is connected (12-24V DC). In this case the power supply is directly monitored as well. If it fails, a notification follows.
The internal batteries ensure that the alarm detector continues to work for a long time.
The ThermoGuard continues to monitor temperature limits and input contacts and will still transmit alarm messages. When power is restored, a signal also follows.
Potential-free alarm inputs
Besides the temperature sensor, the Mobeye ThermoGuard (CM4200) has two NO/NC inputs for connecting alarm contacts and sensors.
This also monitors the status of a device or external sensor, such as an air conditioner or door magnet.
Network and SIM card
The Mobeye SIM card gives the device full functionality, including the use of the Mobeye Internet Portal and the app.
With the Mobeye sim card, communication is over the 4G LTE-M network with 2G as fallback.
When inserting its own SIM card, the device operates on 2G. Alarms are then sent via SMS and/or call to up to 5 phone numbers.
